Jonathan S. Miller, BSEE

Founder, Master Architect

Jonathan is a Master Architect, CEA, and founder of JS Miller Consulting LLC, and has more than 30-years experience in the IT industry as a transformation consultant, enterprise architect, solution architect, software engineer, electrical engineer, systems integrator, and small business owner for more than 20 years. Jonathan is an entrepreneur at heart who loves a challenge and innovated new EA 2.0, IT 2.0, & Digital 2.0 service models that reduce the high failure rate of IT projects worldwide. Jonathan’s most notable mission-critical project as lead architect was the AirFairs project in 2008 to help Frontier Airlines emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy and save 5,000 jobs. Jonathan maintains a variety of professional industry certifications including but not limited to TOGAF® 9.1 (Enterprise Architect), AWS Solution Architect (AWS-SA), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) in business process design, Organizational Change Management (OCM), & Project Management Professional (PMP). Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Civil, & Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has lived in the Denver area for the past 40 years.

Cristina Miller, BAIS

Executive Assistant

Cristina is the executive assistant at JS Miller Consulting. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Library Management, she performs many day-to-day administrative tasks and supports other business functions such as marketing, accounts payable, and human resources.

Marketing Specialist

Melanie is currently a student at Liberty University studying for a Bachelor's of Science in Strategic Marketing Management, and holds an Associate's Degree of Business Administration-Marketing. In addition to school and working as an External Communications Coordinator at Halff, Melanie provides high-quality marketing and website designs for JS Miller Consulting. With over 2 years of experience at JSMC, and launching a brand new website design for the business, Melanie seeks to provide excellent user experience through website design and customer-first marketing concepts.

For over 25 years, Barbara has coached executives, trained leaders at all levels, certified change agents, and facilitated mission-critical transformations - achieving bottom-line business and powerful leadership results for clients. She is gifted at sharing strategies and tactics that are accessible, actionable, and immediately applicable. In 2015, Barbara was recognized as the Change Management Consultant of the Year by the Association of Change Management Professionals-Midwest Region. Barbara holds a doctorate in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Ben Simonton, MS

Leadership & Human Dynamics Partner

Ben Simonton has 35 years of direct experience managing people, in 2005 Ben founded Simonton Associates, and published his first book Leading People to be Highly Motivated and Committed outlining the leadership skills, tools & techniques he had developed to "unleash" up to a 500% increase in productivity. Prior to this Ben was with Consolidated Edison, New York City's electric utility company, as the executive in charge of about 1,300 unionized employees overhauling electric generating station boilers, turbines and auxiliaries. Ben is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with 26 years of naval service including Captain of the USS South Carolina, a nuclear-powered cruiser and a destroyer escort. Ben holds a Masters Degree in Computer Systems Management from the US Naval Postgraduate School.

Matt Faye, BS Art & Design

Creative Technical Communications Partner

Matt has 20 years of experience in UX/UI design, marketing, identity, branding, media production, and directing creative teams. In 2015, Matt founded Gravitation, a visual communications company that specializes in telling technical stories through animation, video, web, and digital distribution, servicing science, medical, manufacturing, and technology. Matt recently concluded an 11 year position with Visual Health Solutions as Creative Director to pursue this ambition — gather the most talented team of people and aim it at medical, science, and technology fields. Matt’s love of effective story telling, design, and visuals combine with a passion for understanding how things work. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts & Design degree from the California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo.

John S. Brenner, PE, MS Soil Science, BS Engineering

Senior Program Manager

John is a Senior Program Manager and has more than 34-years experience in the IT industry as a Program/Project Manager dealing with document generation for legal businesses, agricultural retail, and conservation issues along with the integration of data collection tools and Information Technology components to address integrated complex local and regional scale projects. John’s experience includes legal software document generation to modernize complex legal documents utilized by over 1,400 practicing attorneys, leadership of a $40M multi-year cultural transformation/software program to enhance retail capabilities for the world’s largest agricultural service provider, and responsible for 38% of the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service IT portfolio covering 5 program areas with over 30 software applications and annual budgets of $33M. John works with international teams and oversees development with Angular 12, .NET, Java and various other frameworks. John has held a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Scrum Alliance (CSM) certification, Federal Acquisition Academy (P/PM Level III) and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado. John holds a Master of Science degree in Soil Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Colorado State University. John currently lives on the family farm and ranch in Colorado.

Eric Olson, PMP, MSEE

Senior Program Manager

Eric is a Senior Program Manager with more than 36-years of experience, and has a broad depth of knowledge in technology combined with strong leadership and team building – driving new business initiatives, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Eric Olson’s career began in the Air Force. He was initially involved in cryptographic systems supporting satellite telemetry and data delivery solutions with numerous US and overseas assignments. He received his commission in 1985.  These assignments, along with his education in engineering, laid the foundation for his subsequent career in the public sector with Intrado, Level3, Motorola, Agrium, and Sierra Nevada Corporation in the North Denver area. While at Sierra Nevada Corporation, Eric led diverse engineering teams and programs in support of Sierra Nevada Corporation’s leading Space Program known as the Dream Chaser, a new unmanned space vehicle designed to resupply the International Space Station (ISS). His ability to formulate strategic business models with long range vision where technical details are vague or lacking is invaluable.  Moreover, his ability to plan and implement operational support structures for existing or new systems with the goal of leveraging access and innovation for future solutions adds value as well. Eric has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is a decorated veteran of the Air Force and currently lives with his wife in Superior Colorado.
